Stop finding Network printers & folders automatically

 

Windows XP always finds shared network printers and folder on its own. It may be annoying to some one.  We can stop this search with the following steps.

Start > Run

Type “control folders”

select “View” tab

in “Advanced Settings:” uncheck “Automatically search for network folders and printers” option.
